'RIGHT PLANT, RIGHT PLACE: OVER 1400 SELECTED PLANTS FOR EVERY SITUATION IN THE GARDEN'

Right Plant, Right Place - Nicola Ferguson One of the most useful of my gardening books. The plants are listed mostly by where they will grow best in your garden and area. For example, soil type, shade requirements, exposure, pollution, and containers. They are also listed by these types: Ground cover, climbers, hedging, containers, paving, leaf and foliage color, scented leaves, ornamental fruit, ornamental twigs and bark, suitability for cutting, fragrant flowers, winter flowering.

And there are lots of pictures.
