The Canterbury Tales - Nevill Coghill, Geoffrey Chaucer A must-read if you like English lit. It is the foundation of so much that came after it. And who doesn't love to hear those first verses out loud? It's funny though, I get as much pleasure from those as I do from "`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves did gyre and gimble in the wabe..." Also a must-read.
